²⁵ For David said: “Adonai, the God of Israel, has given His people rest and He dwells in Jerusalem forever. ²⁶ Therefore, the Levites need not carry the Tabernacle and all the vessels for avodah.” ²⁷ For according to David’s final instructions, the Levites 20 years old and upward were counted.
